How to code for accidental poisoning

Hi,
I just purchased the videos online and in the 1st video you say something different from what I have in my book. I just want to be clear and make sure I have the correct notes for the correct scenario:
If a person accidentally takes too much of his prescribed medicine (or even if a toddler were to accidentally take a parent's medication). How would the codes go for that scenario? The notes I had were: Identify abd code the drug first; then code the resulting manifestations, then lastly the E-code. Is that correct?

To summarize, if it is a poisoning you need 3 codes: the poison code, the code(s) for the condition (such as vomiting), and the E-code. Never use a poison code when it is an adverse effect for therapeutic use.
